Amazing Job Offer for soon-to-be graduate!
Current John Amico Cosmetology student, Jordan Hilton, came in for a campus tour in June of 2016. I asked him why he wanted to become a Cosmetologist and he said that he recently started growing out his hair, and wanted to learn how to properly take care of it. By the time he came into John Amico School, he had been to several other schools that could not accommodate his work schedule. He spoke with his friend, Samantha Davidson, who is a John Amico Alumni that quickly told him about John Amico School. After speaking with him and learning about his interest for hair, he enrolled into classes starting just 5 days after his first campus tour. Jordan even decided to quit his job and move back home, so he can take the Full-Time Cosmetology program and finish faster. I could definitely tell that he had a passion for hair and was quickly going to become a John Amico Star.
Jordan has a very professional and polite demeanor; he is always willing to lend a hand to everyone. I always see him working hard, following the rules and participating in events. Even during level 1, I would see him out on the floor watching other male students and asking questions.
At Chicago Chicago 2016, he was a model on the runway as Will Smith from the hit 90’s TV show Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. His fun and comedic performance of the character showed through in his personality.
Currently, Jordan is at 900 clock hours, with 600 left to go. His friend, Samantha Davidson, which referred him, has always told him to come work with her once he gets his license. He said he never took it serious until recently. He currently has job offers to come work with her in Florida, New York and other exciting places throughout the USA. As Jordan has family in both areas, he is leaning towards Florida, as it would better suit his life style. He is highly motivated and feels, if she can do it, so can he. They both will have attended the same school, same education, so he is willing to start at ground zero, build his clientele and inspire others to pursue their dreams through beautifying others.
