The John Amico School of Hair and Nail Design

At John Amico our Student Nail Technicians have been trained by our awarding winning educator, Miss Suzette. Under her direction, our students will perform a wonderfully relaxing service. Our Student Nail Technicians will pamper their clients even further with exfoliating sugar scrubs, relaxing hot towels, and massages for the hands or feet, helping relieve tension from a stressful day.

MANICURES

Manicure $6.50

The fingers are placed in an antibacterial hand soak then the natural nail is filed and shaped, followed by pushing back the cuticles and nail polish application. (20 min.)

Manicure Plus $ 8.00

The fingers are placed in an antibacterial hand soak then the natural nail is filed and shaped, followed by pushing back and trimming the cuticles, hand massage, and nail polish application. (30 min.)

Spa Manicure $10.50

Soaking of the fingers in an antibacterial hand soak, filing and shaping of the natural nail and pushing back and trimming of cuticles. Also exfoliation of the hand with a hand scrub, paraffin treatment, hand massage and polish. (45 min.)

Hot Oil Manicure $8.50

The nails are soaked in warmed lotion, filing, shaping of the natural nails, pushing back and trimming of cuticles, hand massage and polish. (30 min.)

Men Manicures $7.50

Soaking of the fingers in an antibacterial soak, filing, shaping of the natural nails, trimming nails if desired, pushing back and trimming cuticles, hand massage and a high buff shine. (30 min.)

Shellac Manicure $19.50

A waterless manicure is performed, filing shaping of the natural nail, pushing back and trimming of the cuticles, hand massage and polish with the Shellac Gel polish. (45 min.)

Polish change Hands $4.50 - Includes filing, shaping and polishing of the nails. (15 min.)

NAIL ENHANCEMENTS

White nail tips may be used to create a French manicure look. ($2.50 additional charge)

Acrylic $15.50

Creating an artificial nail by using a nail tip that is adhered to the natural nail. Acrylic powder and liquid are formed to create the nail extensions, polish. (1 hr. 15 min.)

Gels $17.50

Creating an artificial nail by using a nail tip that is adhered to the natural nail. A gel product is applied to the nails to create the finished glossy look. Polish if desired. (1 hr. 15 min.)

Silk Or Fiberglass Wraps $13.50 - A nail tip adheres to the natural nail and a piece of fiberglass or silk is applied to add strength and length. (1 hr. 15 min.)

Sculptures $19.50

Pink & white nails are formed by using a nail form instead of the nail tip. French manicured look with the use of acrylic or gel. (1 hr. 15 min.)

Rebalance Nail Maintenance/Fill-Ins - Consists of filing and shaping the nail and adding the product to the new growth area. Pricing based on nail application. (45 min.)

PEDICURES

Pedicure $14.50

Feet are soaked in an antibacterial foot soak, filing shaping and trimming of the toenails, pushing back and trimming of the cuticle, filing of the bottom of the feet to help reduce or removal callous, exfoliation of the feet, massage and polish. (45 min.)

Mini Pedicures $12.50

Feet are soaked in an antibacterial foot soak, filing, shaping and trimming of the toenails, pushing back and trimming of the cuticles and polish. (30 min.)

Spa Pedicure $16.50

Feet are soaked in an antibacterial foot soak, filing, shaping and trimming of the toenails and pushing back and trimming of cuticles. Exfoliation of the feet: pair with a foot mask, filing of the bottom of the feet to help reduce or remove of callous, paraffin treatment, foot massage and polish. (1 hr.)

Men Pedicure $14.50

Filing, shaping, and trimming of the toenails, push back and trim the cuticles, foot exfoliation, filing of the bottom of the feet to help reduce or remove callous, massage, and a high
buff shine. (45 min.)

Toe Polish Change $10.50

Includes filing, shaping, trimming, and polishing of the toe nails. (20 min.)

Nail Repair $3.50

Replacing or repairing a crack in the artificial nails.
(15 min., depending on nail application)

Cut Down $3.50

Shortening of the nails. (10 min.)

Removal $6.50

Soaking in acetone to remove product and conditioning the hand with a moisturizer (20 to 30 min., depending on nail application)

Paraffin Wax Treatment

Warm wax that coats the hand and feet, pulling out impurities. Soothes as well as moisturizes the skin, leaving the hands and feet soft and smooth (additional charge). (15 min.)

Nail Art $3.50 & Up

Free-hand artwork uses light stroke of color to design the nails (15 min. & up, depending on the detailing) using rhinestones or decals $0.20 & up

Massage

The hand and foot massage increases circulation to help remove waste from the body's cells at a more efficient rate. It increase circulation and adds renewed flexibility to the skin. Massages also help emotional soothing and relaxation after a stressful day. (10 min add on; see pricing for additional min.)

French Manicure Polish $3.30 - White polish is applied to the tips of the nail to give a clean look. (15 min.)
